'Players in Education allow the children to be creative and to have the confidence to be themselves. The young performers not only dance, act and sing but are 'one happy family' with the support of an enthusiastic, committed and passionate team. Ava is developing skills that she will keep for life and loves every minute she spends at Players." PARENT
Players in Education is a Performing Arts company for children and teenagers. With over 12 years teaching experience, we know how important the Arts' are to the growth of a young person. Through play, we discover personalities and attributes that may have been hidden before, we allow young people to express themselves through the medium of Acting, Singing and Dancing.
The arts are paramount in all aspects of life; they help self-confidence, team building skills, self-awareness and empathy towards others. Drama is a symbolic language through which we represent the 'real' world, a place where children can explore and discover much more about the world around them through the process of play. We believe there are many times in a persons life where there comes a need to 'act', like a doctor informing patients of news or a teacher stood in front of a class of students.
Whether you explore an after school workshop, a performing arts day or our weekend school, make sure you begin your life long journey with Players!
